Summer is here! While planning to make healthy and delicious summer treats with our kids, so it's time to break out the ice pop molds and freezer trays! We love that we can accommodate so many favorite flavors when making our own popsicles and that our kids love creating their own concoctions!
We particularly love using Kinderville's ice pop molds. Made of durable, BPA-free, non-leaching silicone, these molds are the perfect size for small hands. The unique tapered design is perfect for kids of all ages to enjoy on their own. Just push from the bottom and the frozen treat can be enjoyed at a civilized pace without the mess of rapidly melting juices dripping all over your kid's hands. The fluted rim also helps any residual liquid go back into the mold. At 5" long the mold can make a good-sized popsicle. Kinderville's Little Bites Freezer Trays are another great way to cool off with a natural cold treat. Specifically designed for making and storing baby food in the freezer, we've used these freezer trays to make an assortment of flavored iced cubes. The set of two trays make a hefty sized ice cube, which will keep your drink cold for awhile, which is great for a drink taken outdoors. We particularly like freezing homemade lemonade in these freezer trays and will certainly experiment with more flavors this summer!
