Have I been living under a rock??? How on earth did I get to be thirty-something without knowing that you can use vinegar for just about anything? So ashamed.

I thought vinegar was for one thing - dying Easter eggs. I had NO CLUE you can use it to unclog drains, clean chrome, absorb odors like smoke and onion, clean the dreaded toilet bowl, clear corrosion from a shower head, act as a fabric softener, clean up pet stains (hallelujah) and even fix those annoying yellow anti-perspirant stains! It’s been impossible to post the last few weeks while things were spinning a little bit more than usual. Among many other things including a full bedroom set, I lost hundreds of childhood photos, piles of my prized elementary school stories, all of my craft supplies and sadly, my wedding dress – which was water damaged. Sigh.

The only silver lining of this whole thing is, as if to apologize, she brought SPRING (my favorite time of year) a little early to the east coast. Four 70 degree days in a row!

I ALMOST forgive her. ALMOST. Read more...
