Natural & BPA Free Teether Reviews

molly BPA Free teether

Ladies and Gentlemen - we have a tooth! It appeared last week at just over 5 1/2 months old.  As any parent knows, this is a very exciting "first" but its also a little stressful because you want to help but there's only so much you can do!

The first thing I did was pull out all of the natural teethers I had received as gifts or had purchased and hoped that at least one of them would provide some relief. Here's my take on 5 teethers that my daughter connected with:

Organic Sun Teether - Within two minutes of bringing this teether home it was completely drenched in drool, which in this case is a really good sign.  Its made from both organic cotton and wood (maple) and my daughter loves alternating chewing on the different materials. My favorite part of this teether is that my daughter will "talk" to it which makes me smile (and my heart melt at the adorableness of it).

Sophie the Giraffe Natural Rubber Teether - my daughter loves Sophie...and so do all her friends.  Whenever we hang out with other babies/kids, Sophie becomes the main attraction while being passed (or stolen) back and forth.  There are so many textures and sections to chew on that it keeps my daughter entertained and happy. I won't tell you her favorite part to chew on because it'll probably embarrass her 8 years from now...

Multi-Sensory Silicone Teether - the size, shape and weight of this teether are all awesome. My daughter can easily grasp and hang on to this teether for long periods of time. You can also throw this in the freezer for some cold gums.

Organic Green Bean Toy - I've dipped the ends of this green bean in water and frozen them to provide additional relief for her poor gums, which seems to really help.

Wooden Oval Teether - this teether was used a lot the day my daugther's tooth came in - I think the firmness of the wood was providing her relief during the most painful parts.  Its a little big for her hands at 5 1/2 months but I think it'll be a great for future rounds of teething.
