Ok, ok. Perhaps I was being a bit dramatic in Friday's post when saying I had COMPLETELY FAILED the challenge. Frankly, I was just feeling lazy and mad at myself for not washing my new bottles enough to use them more often throughout the week.

At the end of the day, even though the goal I set for myself was to use the new LifeFactory and Green to Grow bottles exclusively for one week, the real point of the challenge was to make sure all of my bottles were BPA-free....and that I did....100%. It's that time again! So....what's in store for week #4?

MightyNest Eco-challenge #4: Ditch the old plastic BPA baby bottles! Replace them with safer alternatives made from glass and BPA-free plastic.  

I have three words...BRING IT ON! I've been waiting for this one. For two years straight, I have hand-washed a zillion stinking little pieces from my Dr. Browns bottles and I can't take it anymore! Not to mention the fact that at least half of the bottles in my collection are pre-BPA uproar, which means they're loaded up with everyone's favorite chemical, BPA.  

I'm sooo ready for something simple, safe and cute. Yes, cute. Have you seen the bottles I'll be trying out from LifeFactory and Green to Grow?? Brightly-colored mod sleeves, little happy fruit faces...packaging genius. But most importantly, they're completely safe which is obviously a very good thing. Read more...
