Stainless Steel Coffee Carafe

brunch carafe

I just had the pleasure of using Timolino's stainless steel carafe at a brunch last weekend. We were eating far enough away from the kitchen that using a carafe to keep our coffee hot was instrumental to the overall relaxed event. First, I'll start off with the fact that this carafe is mighty cool looking in it's industrial-style way. And most importantly, it works really well.

Beyond the fact that it looks well built, it IS well built. Made from 18/8 (304) stainless steel inside and out, this vacuum insulated carafe will keep beverages hot or cold for hours! High-quality stainless steel also provides resistance to rust corrosion often found in cheaper types of stainless steel. No need to worry about rusty coffee with this bad boy.

It's size is substantial enough to be practical, but not in the way that prohibits your other hand from wielding a plate of muffins at the same time. The design of the handle is ergonomically designed, so this allows for your multi-tasking skills to shine and your wrist to stay intact. The added thumbprint divet on the handle allows for further comfort and stability.  What's more, the spout has a double edged lip for even pouring and prevents dripping. Both the spout and the twist cap are made from BPA-free polypropylene and the handle is made from BPA-free polypropylene and silicone. Holds 40 ounces of freshly brewed coffee (or tea) to bring outside to the garden, to the park for a picnic, in the car, to the office...My daughter suggested we fill it with hot chocolate and have a winter picnic with friends. Luckily, that idea can wait until next winter! Finally, it's easy to clean. Although it's not meant for the dishwasher or microwave, it's easy to wash by hand with warm soapy water.

Where would you use such a fabulous carafe?
