Trillium Organics for Your Skin

shea butter

Trillium Organics doesn't make ordinary skin products. They go up and beyond the norm when making their extraordinary skincare line. Founder Karen Ciesar began Trillium Organics in 1994."I had an urge to do something personally to make things better, not just tell others how they should do it, but try to do things greener, cleaner, better, myself". Since then, she has created an amazing collection of high quality products ranging from body scrubs to infant skincare. As Trillium says, "WHAT GOES ON, GOES IN!"

Here at MightyNest, we all use the shea butters daily. The out-of-this-world pink grapefruit has an amazingly uplifting scent, found in both the shea butter and the body polish. But we also use the calming lavender geranium body butter just as much. We proudly stock OG Baby- fragrance-free soap, fragrance-free barrier balm and fragrance-free moisture oil. OG Mama- belly butter and gentle soap. OG Body- shea butter and body polish.

In case you're unfamiliar with body polish, it's a natural body scrub that cleanses, moisturizes and ultimately promotes healthy skin through gentle exfoliation. Made from crystalline salt, organic oils and essential oils of grapefruit, lavender, clove and others. A little bit can go a long way, especially if used on target dry patches like elbows and knees.

Trillium also makes the distinct promise that their products contain ZERO toxins which are often found in conventional products. Just to name a few chemicals that you can be assured are NEVER in Trillium products: Dioxane, BHA, Formaldehyde, Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan and Petroleum. For the full list of toxins to be avoided, read here. Instead, you can find organic oils, beeswax, shea butter, essential oils, botanicals, honey and salt among others.

Trillium also has their products listed on the Skin Deep website which rates toxicity in cosmetics and they consistently show up as the TOP RATED and one of the safest products in any of the categories. Trillium Organics is also certified organic by the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) and an active member of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.
