UKonserve Stainless Steel Container + Giveaway!

03.19.12 UKonserve Stainless Steel Container + Giveaway!

The makers of Kids Konserve reusable food storage have added some new products to their line. The U Konserve containers are geared towards adults but of course, they are suitable for packing foods on the go for kids as well. The colors --saffron and slate, are a little more subtle than the kid palette of pinks, purples and bright yellows for reusable containers.

The container itself is made from 304 (18/8 food grade) stainless steel and holds 33 ounces. It comes with a very crucial leak-proof lid that's made from non-toxic LDPE #4 plastic. This lid is truly leak-proof which means you can count on your food staying inside of the compartment and not swirling around in your bag.

Benefits of using stainless steel?

Stainless steel is a safe option when it comes to use with food and beverage, as there are no chemicals that can migrate into your food from these products. Stainless steel is durable, easy to sanitize and corrosion resistant to various acids found in meats, milk, fruits and vegetables.

So, what to use this container for? This rectangle container is the perfect on-the-go solution for entrees like sandwiches, wraps, sushi and salads. We also use it for take out, and to store leftovers in the fridge. And of utmost importance, it is made from the safest, non-leaching, non-toxic, BPA, PVC, phthalate, and lead-free materials! Oh, and it can safely go into the dishwasher!

And we have one to GIVE AWAY!
