I came across the magazine Experience L!fe several months ago. What struck me right off the bat was the magazine's focus on celebrating a healthy lifestyle and the fact that they had such a positive energy. Proactive, Alternative, Fresh are common words that help readers reconsider or revamp their lifestyle into a healthy or healthier one. What I like is that the message is not from a place of judgement but rather from an offering, a helpful suggestion. It's similar to what we aspire to, here at MightyNest.
Experience L!fe's mission is: "To empower our readers to become their best, most authentic selves and to support their enjoyment of a healthy, balanced, deeply satisfying way of life." This statement resonates deeply for me as our mission at MightyNest reflects a similar wish.
Some of the recent articles that I was excited to see include an interview with Kris Carr, who radically changed her life for the better after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 31. That's right, age 31! Carr made major changes to her diet and the products she uses at home making a proactive difference in her health. Carr now has an impressive following of readers and a best-selling book. An article titled, "Clean Up, Pare Down", was also of interest as we love the idea of economizing what we have at home and instead focus on investing in well made, durable and safe products. Another article, "Healthy Delights" showcases healthy products for cleaning, storing, and making artwork with safe materials. These are just a few articles that underline the ways in which we can make positive changes that will utimately impact our lives.
