Dude, Where's my Car?

37 weeks down, 3 to go.

My husband installed the car seat in our car this past weekend which means that even though the nursery still isn’t ready, the crib and dresser haven’t arrived yet, and my hospital bag isn’t packed, we can at least get the baby from the hospital to our house when the time comes!

I’ve discovered that being prepared does have a slight downside, though.  Now every time I open my car door I experience the briefest moment of panic that I’ve just let myself into someone else’s car.   I mean, there’s a car seat right in front of my face!  And then it dawns on me that this is in fact my car and my car seat. 

One of these days it’ll sink in…
