Whether you grab the newspaper bag for your sack lunch or you buy a fancy, plastic-free lunch box, you can cut down on your waste while saving money.
By using cloth sandwich bags and stainless steel snack tins you’re saving money by not buying boxes and boxes of plastic baggies. Also save by avoiding pre-packaged individual snack portions and make your own. For the more ambitious, get stainless steel food storage tins and then take them when you go out to eat and have the restaurant pack your to-go items in them. They might even pass on the savings to you.
