The Silicone sleeve is non-toxic and free of plastics. Includes one Stage 1 medical grade silicone nipple that is non-toxic and latex-free. The plastic ring, plug and cap are FDA approved and BPA free.
Bright colored silicone sleeve (patent pending) helps to protect the glass baby bottles from breakage and provides a great gripping surface and tactile experience during feeding. Bottle and sleeve can be boiled or put in the dishwasher together. Can also go in the freezer, making breast milk storage simple.
Nipples that come with the 4 oz. bottles are Stage 1 (0-3 months). Any standard size nipple will fit on the Lifefactory baby bottle. Wide neck nipples will not fit.

The 4oz and 9 oz baby bottles are compatible with the medela breast pump. They may be compatible with others, although Lifefactory has not tested any other brand.

I'm using these for the first time with my third child. I LOVE them. They are easy to hold and very easy to clean. The silicon sleeve is super simple to get on and off. ANd they are cute too boot! In the past I was a sucker for bottles with numerous valves that claim to cut down on gas and fussiness. These bottles have no valves and my son has no problem w gas etc. I am convinced the valves are gimmicks. I am buying the 9oz bottles now that my son's appetite has grown. Can't recommend these enough!
