I bought this set for my kids because their glass dishes were getting broken too often.
I really like this set. It's great to have the insulated bowl to keep foods warm and the insulated cup to keep drinks cool. I was afraid that the cup would be to big for my petite 3 year old but the fact that it has no handle and an hourglass shape forces her to hold it with both hands and so she handles it well. I really like the shape of the plate, especially compared to the plate in the Lunchbots set which I also own. This plate is more rectangular and it's easier for my kids to pick up food with their forks.
I own both this set and the Lunchbots set and even though the Lunchbots cup is a little easier for my kids to hold if I had to choose one set over the other I would choose the Life is Plastic set.
