I love this cup! I bought it for my son's second birthday, and at that point he couldn't drink out of a regular cup without pouring it all down his front. Within a couple of weeks of using the EIO cup, he has much better control with a regular cup. It is such a fun trainer, one that I think would work nicely even if your child has mastered a cup, but has trouble with knocking it over and making a mess. I drink from mason jars almost exclusively now, so it is exciting to my son to have his own special jar to drink from. The cup without the lid and sleeve is identical to a half pint jam jar, so if your cup breaks, you can move the sleeve over to a new jar, and pay very little to "replace" it. Also, since it is a mason jar, I can use a canning lid to seal it up for travel if we are packing lunch. I can't say enough good things about this cup!

Disappointed that after only two days and one drop it shattered into sharp shards. I thought the glass was asupposed to a little sturdier especially with the sleeve on the cup.

These are great! They are small enough for little hands and you feel good about having your kids drink out of glass instead of plastic.

This cup has grown on me. I initially bought it to avoid spills and to transition from the sippy to a big kid cup. While it does hold in spills (not completely) relatively well, the spout or drinking area is quite awkward. My little ones, who had been using regular cups, but spilling often, had a tough time adjusting to the opening and were spilling all over themselves with it. I actually found that they did better without the lid. All that being said, I love the little cup as a cup, sans the lid. More recently, my youngest has been knocking cups of milk off the table so frequently that I think I'll try the lid again to see if we can avoid the spills. It's a durable and the sleeve is good for slippery little hands. All in all, I like the cup and well enough to order another... I have three and plan to order one more. We also really like the duralex glasses too!

I've only had these cups for a few weeks, but so far they've held up great. I was slightly disappointed the first time they were used though. My toddler has had no problem drinking from an adult cup; this cup though he has a harder time drinking from and a lot ends up on the front of his shirt. Hopefully practice will make for less mess, but I wished he could sip from them more like an adult cup. The spout on this lid is so awkward. They don't spill a lot if knocked over which is why I got them and the silicone sleeve is great for little slippery hands.

A nice size for my 3-year-old. I can also get the lid to work on our jelly jars so it makes very versatile.

We have been using these cups with our 17 month old twins for a few weeks now. We only use them at meal times at the table for a few reasons.
1. Because they will spill, so they're not ideal for walking around with.
2. It's taking them awhile to figure out how to sip from them and not get a big, splashing gulp, so they need to be closely supervised and sometimes helped.
3. It didn't take long for them to figure out how to pour it out in a stream on their plate or lap or hair though!! Again-supervision required.
These are great for:
1. Training/weaning from sippy cups to regular cups
2. Not having yucky plastic being sucked on. All our sippy cup lids have teeth mark scratches on them which terrifies me-hence the push to transition!!
3. Sturdiness! We have hardwood floors and its a loooong drop from table to floor. Not a dent or crack. We've washed ours at least 10 times in the dishwasher-no fading or cracking for us...

Basically these are great if you think your child is ready to move from a sippy to a regular cup.
I'd have given 5 stars if they weren't so pricey!

Love it!

I love this cup! My son loves using it too. It is the first cup a grab when we are eating at the table. We have carpet under our table so I don't use the silcone sleeve. However if put on correctly and following the directions it will not tear. I love that my son has a real cup and it is so easy to use. Also we have lots of canning jars so we always have a clean cup!

I was so excited to receive this product but was disappointed when the silicone sleeve tore after using it only two times. The black pigment around the EIO also started to chip off. The cap works fine but I'm pretty much just left with a jar, which I could have bought for a few cents.
