I originally bought it for my daughter, to put on after her baths. But I loved it so much, I've "stolen" it and use it more for myself than for her! :D
First, on my daughter, this product is *wonderful* beyond compare. It isn't like lotion, that just coats the dry skin. It sinks in... it takes away any tiny bit of dry skin that is still left over after using the OGBaby Gentle Soap (which I also use on my daughter). I've noticed that the moisture oil actually stays on her skin for a good 2-3 days, but without being greasy and gross. Just really soft and elastic.
After noticing how well it worked on my daughter, I decided to use it for myself. The first time, I used it on my legs after shaving in the shower. My legs were silky smooth for a good 2 days afterwards, even through a second shower.
I used it again on my entire body, and my husband commented that night about the softness of my skin (huge grin!).
Finally, I experimented by using it on my face as a moisturizer (because everything else up to that point caused a reaction in my skin and eyes (even tho it was nowhere near my eyes)). I AM THRILLED with it as a face moisturizer! It has a very pleasant scent, smooths on very well, and you barely have to use any at all to get lots of moisturizing. I've been using it for 3 months and it's just now down to the label.
I've tried using actual olive oil as a moisturizer and didn't like it... it felt too heavy, made me break out a tiny bit, and was super-shiny. So when I used this, I worried it might do the same, but it didn't. It isn't heavy-feeling and when I mentioned to a friend that I was using it, she said I didn't look too shiny. Love this! It's heavenly on baby skin, too, obviously!
