Exactly what I wanted! My husband broke this bowl from an eleven bowl set, and I was so excited to be able to replace it. It matched my set perfectly. I have used these bowls for over 15 years and love them. Thank you Mighty Nest.

I ordered this 3.75 liter bowl for mixing, rising bread dough. It is great size for one loaf, especially if you use sourdough for leavening, as all three rises of the sourdough can be done in this one bowl without switching to bigger bowl. I like duralex for bread because it is so much lighter weight than other tempered glass bowls. The lip on this style makes it easy to grip the bowl and rotate it with one hand while mixing with the other. Of course I also like duralex because it's so versatile, you can microwave in it and use it in the oven and it looks pretty as serving dish. I have lots of duralex, but it was hard to find this larger size in a store. It arrived in AZ in 4 days after I ordered it even though I only chose standard shipping. I love this bowl!
