I've had these plates for 2 years and have loved them -- they've worked great for my kids from 6 months to toddler age. However, in the last couple months they've had a white, soapy coating on them that I can't seem to eliminate (which also tastes slightly soapy!!). I think daily dishwasher use has effected them, to the point that they're now pretty much unusable. I'm also concerned that my kids may have been ingesting some of that soapy film (which probably also made their food taste pretty terrible). I'd advise hand-washing for long term use of these plates. For me, I'm switching to stainless steel.
Yes, I agreed, the plates are a little bigger for babies; but it is work perfectly for kids 2 years old and up.
I got a set of plates for my twin boys. My daugther is 8 year old and I have to get a set of the plates for her;she love the bright colors and I love the perfect portion of food in the plate. LOVE IT !!

I love these plates. They are bright colors which my daughter likes and heavy enough that she can't toss them. Even our daycare likes them. Very durable for travel. Just wish kinderville would make a cover to go with plates.
The plates are a little bigger then I expected (my son is only 7 months and I needed a divided plate to feed him)but my son will grow into them. As for right now we just fill the two smaller sections. The plates are a little heavy which will make it more difficult for my son to toss them when he old enough to feed himself!!! They seem to be very durable and I like the fact we are not using plastic.
