This jar is fine for emulsifying ingredients. The cap fits well and the bottle doesn't drip. However, the mouth is too narrow to grind pepper into, squeeze a half lemon over, or easily add fresh herbs. One ends up making the dressing in a bowl and then pouring it into the bottle to blend it, which is silly. Also, the recipes provided depend on sugar too much.
I used my new salad dressing bottle for the first time and was amazed by how well the dressing tasted! I combined 2 of the recipes for my own dressing and it was perfect! Better than my fancy store-bought salad dressing! And the best part, I have a bottle ready and don't have to make it every night.
