Start From Seed: Both the leafy greens and seeds of dill are used to flavor, fish, potatoes and pickles. After harvesting the leafy greens, allow the plants to flower to attract beneficial insects and mature the seeds. Direct seed in the garden after the last frost and throughout the summer.
