I LOVE this sippy cup because of the versatile stages. From sippy valve to straw plus a lid to cover the entire thing. I do wish it was insulated. All in all, it's a favorite & I will only buy these sippys from now on.
This is a great sippy cup. I love that it can be a sippy or a straw cup! I bought it for my 8 month old and he tips it upside down and it doesn't leak. My 3 year old loves it too(he uses it with the straw). It's easy to put together and easy to clean, too. I will definitely be buying more.
After trying to get this sippy to not leak just standing up, I ended up having to shave an 1/8 inch of plastic off it do it wouldn't leak through the seal. I do not recommend this sippy at all. Nothing but problems.
We have used a myriad of sippy cups and have found this to be one of the better ones out there. We have a cabinet filled with different brands of sippys (foogo, eco, kanteen klean, thinkbaby, nuk, etc.). We now have four of these since its pretty much all we use. It has a number of nice features: removable insulator sleeve, protective cap, straw, travel plug, removable handles. If you are looking for a versatile sippy this is it. It may be used with the valve for water, milk, or juice or with the straw for thicker beverages such as smoothies. We haven't really used the travel plug, but do like the concept of having it should we go on a long journey. We do use the cap whenever we leave the house with it. We have found it reasonably easy to clean, as all of the components separate easily. We use a nipple brush or child's toothbrush to clean the spout. It's mostly leak proof, but not 100% of the time. For example, when our toddler bangs it around some liquid does come out. This is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The only completely leak proof sippy we have found is by NUK, but it's made of plastic, BPA free, but still plastic. Bottom line - this is the best non-plastic sippy out there and it's definitely the most versatile. Independent review, non-compensated in any way.
Got this for my almost 1 year-old. He has a better grasp of drinking from a straw than a regular sippy. This is easy for him to hold. I like the design. He is doing well drinking from this, but does chew on the straw part, which is hard, not squishy. I totally don't understand the travel plug though - you have to take out the straw plug and put in the travel plug for the cup to not leak. But, then you have to carry the other plug in your bag, so you can unscrew the top, swap them out, etc. What a pain. So, I will not be using this as a travel cup, but will get one with an integrated cap, like the Foogo one, for him eventually.
I LOVE LOVE this sippy. It was very hard to fine a safe sippy cup for my 6 month old. I order this to see if would work for her. She loves it and so do I.
Well it looks like you don't wash your babies product after they use it. Sounds to me that any product would grow mold if it not washed. I love this cup and how easy it is to keep clean. As far as the size, I just give mt son more liquid if I think he has not had enough. Seems logical.
Sad to say I'm not impressed. It's rather small inside, and though the base is stainless steel, the plastic straw and soill preventer is plastic. So its great that there's no BPA, but it looks like the same sorta plastic that will end up growing mold on it if not washed right away.
Not worth $15 that's for sure.
