Natural Soy Crayon Rocks (9 pack) Reviews

We love the creamy texture these crayon rocks create, plus they are great for little hands - and they don't break in half like regular crayons.

I ordered these for my toddler and returned them because they are not safe for young children. The size and shape make them the perfect choking hazard, and the bright colors and pleasant aroma make them too tempting for a little one (or perhaps even older kids) to taste. They are the size of a small grape (about 1/2" - 3/4" in diameter). I thought about keeping them for when my son is older, but if friends with toddlers visit, they are still a hazard. I made a small mark with each before returning, and the texture was very smooth and buttery, the colors somewhat lighter than a typical crayola. These are a nice idea poorly executed. The maker should make them in a flat triangular shape with an indentation in the middle to make them easy for toddlers to grip, and large enough not to be a choking hazard. If these were the size and shape of Alvin toddler crayons, I would buy them.
