This set is quality with a capital Q, and includes a little extra something. 14 blocks feature big, bold lettering in both uppercase and lowercase, with bright colors to draw a child’s attention. One complete embossed uppercase alphabet and one complete printed lowercase alphabet with some extra vowels thrown in for spelling names or Hawaiian words.

Basswood is ideal for making blocks because of its light-weight, light-colored and odor-free properties. Non-toxic inks are used on the letter embossing, beveled edges, and classic styling of each block.
The blocks are tested regularly and always surpass standards on ink safety. They purchase the inks from an American manufacturer that doesn’t use any heavy metals. Says Uncle Goose, "To keep them honest, we test every gallon of ink before we put it on our blocks. We’re fanatic about quality and safety." There are no sealants or coatings used on the blocks.
