These yoga bolsters are stuffed firmly with organic, dust-mite-proof kapok in a 100% cotton muslin case with a zippered, removable cover. The handle on the end helps with carrying. These are traditional yoga bolsters for use with a variety of back stretching asanas as well as restorative yoga. We have also found the bolster to make a great back rest when propped against two yoga blocks, for reading in bed, laptop computers, or guided meditations.

I am chemically sensitive, and so usually expect to have to wash new purchases multiple times and/or put them out in the sun for an extended time for the "new" smell to dissipate enough to tolerate use. This bolster was fine right out of the box, and the cover barely needed the one wash I gave it! That's 5 stars out of 5 right there. One star off because the bolster is a little softer than I like.
