Duralex glasses, tumblers, dinnerware, ramekins and mixing bowls are made in France of tempered glass that is 2.5 times stronger than ordinary glass. In instances where the Duralex glass breaks, it breaks into small chunks, lessening the possibility of cuts. Duralex withstands temperatures from 4 degrees to 212 degrees. Although the bowls are sold individually, they are stackable with one another. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Like other reviews have stated, this is a hard item to find and it's extremely useful for a variety of kitchen chores. What more can you say about a glass bowl other than it works great, hasn't chipped or scratched. Handles the dishwasher fine. As for cutomer service it is top notched. I am an extremely satisfied customer.
