I bought this for my son who is 2.5. He has been working on getting his second set of molars for a couple of months now and these have been the hardest on him of all his teeth. He's constantly chewing on his sleeves and the collar of his shirt and he's started biting when it hurts him really badly. He still has some of his old teething toys but I thought this would be perfect for him to wear and have with him all the time but he doesn't like to keep it on. It's a bit bigger than I expected and fairly chunky and he just doesn't like the feel of it around his neck. He hasn't chewed on the part that's meant to be chewed, either; he wadded up the strings and chewed on them instead. I love the idea, it just didn't work out for us like I thought it might.
