This cup is NOT leak-proof! After trying numerous times(inside ziploc as back up) to send this to school w/my son, I was told it had leaked, yet again, only this time it leaked all over the cubbies and the teacher had to use class time to clean the pool it made! I stupidly thought maybe I had gotten a lemon and bought another one. The new one also leaked repeatedly and the last straw with these for me was when my son came home in different clothes because it had leaked again and got all over him when he opened his lunchbag! Maybe these would work if you arent planning to have them leave the table otherwise, pack extra clothes and food that it will soak.
