I've been relying on coffee in the morning, in part because I don't like the way tea tastes out of plastic or metal containers. Also, I am a bit of a klutz and if I don't use a travel mug walking around with my tea - I have the tea-stained jeans to prove it.
So, I got the Vue. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and still am a bit mixed in my review.
The tea stays warm for some time, about an hour. I do get heat transference to the outside of the container, but not so much that I can't hold it.
The tea strainer is quite shallow. I wasn't sure if I should put my leaves on top of the strainer and pull it out before going, or put the leaves in the main container so they keep steeping and let the strainer keep the leaves out of my mouth. I've used it both ways, depending on the type of tea.
The snap mouth opening is pretty heavy duty. This is great, as it keeps the contents in, just be prepared to use a bit of force.
All that said, I love how my tea tastes with the Vue and it seems really well made.
