I wanted to love this vessel, and I did...for maybe three uses. I'm known for being pretty obsessive about taking good care of my things, but as I was taking this out of my bag and putting it onto my work desk this morning, the bottom caught the edge of the desk. It wasn't huge whack, just knocked a bit on the side, but the top inside of the glass completely sheared off. We use a lot of glassware in our house and all of it feels really sturdy to me...but the way this broke, it just feels flimsy. Maybe it was because the lid was screwed on at the time so there wasn't any give, but it's really a major bummer for what I felt was a minor bump. I can't imagine what would happen if you actually dropped it!
