Seal Cup Trio
Non-toxic silicone lid and type 304 stainless container
This set of containers is my favorite. The lids are solid but not so hard to get off that my kids can't take them for school lunches. They also nest together to save space.
About a month ago I ordered these (also the mini and XL seal cups) to have an alternative to my Pyrex glass containers, which aren’t leak proof. These have been very useful, and I tend to use at least one when packing my lunches for work. I haven’t had any leaks with the cut fruit and veggies, hummus, or thick stew (I use a bowl at work to reheat) that I’ve had inside. I try remember to grab the large container (orange lid) when I go out to restaurants so I can use it as a take-away container for my leftovers, and it has worked really well for that. All of the containers, including the mini and XL, can nest together with the lids. For storage, I place the lids under their containers as it cuts down on noise when taking them in and out of the cabinet. I have not washed them in my dishwasher, but instead hand wash them so I can use them the next day.
About Eco LunchBox
ECOlunchbox was born of the idea that change can begin at lunchtime. I wanted to make a change in how I packed my family’s lunches – to cut out the plastic and do the right thing for our health as well as Mother Earth. It seemed like a pretty simple concept. Design a food container out of something plastic-free and make it available to friends, family and through an online store. Since founding ECOlunchbox as a triple-bottom-line social enterprise in 2009, the business has scaled beyond my initial vision.
