What Makes It Mighty?

Ingredient Highlights
- HPR – Revolutionary new form of vitamin A that is bioavailable in its current state without the need of any inefficient metabolic steps (retinol requires 2). Works to dramatically reduce the appearance of wrinkles & discoloration, revealing beautiful, youthful skin.
- Bakuchiol – Derived from the babchi plant, long used in Ayurvedic & Chinese medicine, bakuchiol is a gentle, yet potent, natural ingredient that works like a retinoid to rejuvenate the skin.
- Sodium Hyaluronate – The salt of hyaluronic acid (HA), sodium hyaluronate, has been shown to have better skin penetrating capabilities than HA alone. Helps to plump up and moisturize the skin while reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
- Oat Beta Glucan – Naturally hydrates and soothes the skin, has been shown reduce the appearance of wrinkles while also having a tightening effect.
- Alpha Lipoic Acid – A powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory qualities that has been shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
- Aloe Vera – Skin protectant believed to increase the availability of oxygen to the skin.
What is the difference between the original Vitamin A Serum and the Super A Serum?
The original Vitamin A Serum formula contained a single retinoid called HPR, while the new Super A Serum contains three bioactive retinoids: HPR, retinol, and retinyl linoleate. We also added bakuchiol, a plant-sourced active that acts like a retinoid and works beautifully alongside the retinoids to deliver marked results to sun-damaged and aging skin.

This is the only Vit A serum I can tolerate. My skin is very sensitive but is prone to breakouts. This Vit A serum along with the Vit C serum from MH has done wonders for my skin. I can definitely tell that my skin's texture is smoother and my skin appears more radiant and glowing. The Vit A has helped to decrease pore size and diminish fine lines. My breakouts are also decreased after using this for only 3 weeks. I noticed first effects after 1 week but now my skin keeps improving. I think MH helps your skin to heal itself, makes your skin look make-up optional and then if you keep using the products you will notice how great your skin looks all naturally. Love that this contains no artificial anything (fragrance is all natural from the herbal extracts and they use no synthetic preservatives). I have eczema, and my skin is allergic to basically everything. This serum is wonderful - it's gentle and calming, and leaves my face feeling comfortable (as opposed to itchy and on fire like with most facial products, even the ones that are supposed to be for sensitive skin). I'm not so concerned about wrinkles or aging; I just love how this product makes my face stop hurting. I've been using it for over a year, and have never had a bad reaction. This product was recommended to me by a family member. I was suffering from breakouts and small pimples/bumps all over face. I have been using this at night in combination with the Vitamin C serum for less than a week and notice a dramatic difference. My skin looks smoother, clearer, and brighter. The Vitamin A helped push out old blackheads and congested pores. Absolutely love this product!
This is my favorite product in the Mad Hippie line. It smells amazing, has wonderful consistency, absorbs easily, and makes my skin look and feel amazing.
