About Auromere

Over 30 years ago Auromere Ayurvedic Imports started as a small community-owned business that became one of the first companies to introduce Ayurveda to the U.S. Today, as a leading importer of Ayurvedic body care, books on Integral Yoga, and conscious living products, Auromere's mission is to bring the ancient spiritual and traditional healing wisdom of India and a higher consciousness within reach of our modern, fast-paced lives.Auromere itself is owned and operated by Sri Aurobindo Sadhana Peetham, a non-profit Integral Yoga community, and run by its residential members and volunteers as a part of their spiritual practice. Proceeds support the upkeep and activities of the community, as well as other Integral Yoga organizations in the U.S. and India. 25% of profits on our Incense helps support a local village school in Orissa, one of the poorest regions of India; while 10% of profits on the full line of Auromere products and books are donated to the support and development of Auroville, the bio-sustainable "City of Human Unity" in southeastern India.Auromere is committed to providing natural, vegetarian body care products that are not tested on animals. We condemn the practice of cruelty to animals through drug and cosmetic testing. Over the years the Auromere brand has carried the seal of approval from the Humane Society, Beauty Without Cruelty, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and the "Leaping Bunny" logo of the CCIC (Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics).
