CoffeeSock now makes a filter especially for tea. These durable cotton filters are a reusable alternative to paper filters and nylon sacks, last for a year or more, and out-perform any comparable disposable and reusable filters. Cotton imparts no flavor on the finished brew unlike paper, and it's a responsibly produced, renewable resource.

Dimensions: 4.255” W  x 5.5” H

Use: Fill bag with desired quantity of loose tea. Secure the top. Immerse in hot water and steep for desired amount of time. Metal ring weight holds filter in place. Discard spent tea leaves. Rinse and hang to thoroughly dry.

Out of Chemex coffee filters, and with an old traveling Chorreador, aka 'coffee sock' from Costa Rica as inspiration, we made an organic fabric filter for the Chemex. It performed so well that we were inspired to create models for all popular coffee brewing processes. As we began to offer these for sale, the reception was so enthusiastic that we turned all of our attention to developing a brand, a family business, and to changing the world ONE SOCK AT A TIME! Since starting with just pour over designs, we moved into all popular sized filters, including creating the simplest Cold brew kit on the market.
