Store out of direct water stream, bristles down. Shake out excess water and allow to dry between uses for longevity of brush head.
To replace head, slide silicone sleeve off the bottom of the handle, lift and replace brush head between tension prongs and slide silicone sleeve back up the handle to secure.
To compost used brush head, pull out each cluster of bristles from the head, trim off the metal loops (easy to do with scissors), and then compost the loose bristles and head, disposing of the metal loops in the trash.
Package free; primarily compostable except very minor components (e.g. plastic toggles or small stickers)
I Love this brush! I have never been a dish brush person. But, a friend suggested that I try this one for MightyNest and mentioned that the head is replaceable for less waste. So, I decided to give it a try. I am hooked. While I still am not an exclusive brush person (old habits die hard), I love how good this works, that I can get into my coffee carafe and other harder to clean dishes. The bristles are sturdy with the right amount of bend and they have been easy to clean. Not getting all clogged up with egg, for example. It rinses right out. I have not needed to change the head yet, but it seems pretty easy to do.
This is my go-to dish brush! The plant fibers have much more give than plastic and I love that you can replace the brush heads when they get worn or gunky.
I do all the cooking and my partner does the dishes. He's pretty picky about what he uses, but he's had nothing but praise for this brush. He, like me, loves that the brush head is replaceable AND compostable. Double win.
Great for cleaning off dishes. The brush heads typically last me a few months - and they are easy to wash. I like that the handle is made of silicone, too.
These are a big upgrade from my old plastic brushes. I love the grip of the silicone handle and the brush heads are easy to pop in an out. Looks nice in my kitchen too.
It's a fantastic tool for scrubbing dishes and the heads last awhile. I'm largely the singular dishwasher in the house without a machine and tend to only have to change things out once every few months when the bristles get squashed.
I'd advise avoiding putting it in boiling or very high heated water/temperature as it mostly seems to more easily deform the bristles more easily.
Have been using for awhile and will continue to go about buying more replacement heads regularly to keep it anew.
I receive the dish brush with my might fix and at first it seemed awesome. But unfortunately within a few uses, the brush fibers started falling out in huge chunks. It's just very poorly made. Would not recommend.
