What makes it Mighty?
- compostable head made from FSC certified beechwood and tampico plant fiber bristles
- durable bristles easily scour grease & grime but are gentle enough to suds up and polish delicate stemware
- replaces single use plastic brushes
The replacement head for the modern Swedish silicone dish brush is made of FSC® certified beech wood and natural tampico fiber. Tampico, a stiff fiber made from the desert-loving plants Agave and Yucca, has great liquid holding properties, making it an excellent material for scrubbing bristles. The beechwood is FSC® certified to guarantee sustainable forestry.
Use: To replace the brush head, simply slide up the silicone part of handle to loosen the metal clamp and release the brush head. To compost the used brush head, pull out each cluster of bristles from the head, trim off the metal loops (easy to do with scissors), and then compost the loose bristles and head, and dispose the metal loops in the trash.
