What Makes it Mighty?

  • A NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC WRAP FOR FOOD STORAGE

Product Details

Meet the comprehensive Bee’s Wrap kit, with a wrap for every job in the kitchen. Whether you’re storing half a lemon, bundling up a loaf of bread, or covering a bowl, the variety pack has you covered. Each size corresponds with a designated print; reach into your drawer and find the right wrap at a glance.

Wrap a sandwich, cheese, produce, and cover a bowl. Use the warmth of your hands to form Bee's Wrap over the top of a bowl, half a lemon, or a piece of cheese. The wrap will hold its shape when it cools, creating a seal. The  variety pack allows individuals and households to stock up on Bee’s Wrap and make the shift away from disposable food storage for good.

Made of beeswax, organic cotton, organic jojoba oil and tree resin.

Care: Wash with cool water and gentle soap, and reuse.

These have completely replaced plastic bags and wrap in my kitchen

I have no complaints about Bees Wraps. They work very well for everything I've wrapped in them, including lemons, avocados, bread, cut carrots and cucumbers, grapes, cat food cans, you name it. I wipe them clean with a soapy cloth and they clean up beautifully. The longer you have them the more pliable and easy-to-stick they become. I don't know how I lived without them, honestly! Today in my lunch I have carrots, crackers and grapes all wrapped in Bees Wraps. In my refrigerator I have 2 loaves of olive bread wrapped in the big bread one. Everything keeps beautifully.

Cute and sadly ineffective

I have been admiring this product for a couple of years now. I was so thrilled when I finally had enough to buy the set! They're so pretty and delightful to look at!
They hold alright when you can wrap them over itself. But did like avocado and chicken don't keep well in it since it's breathable. This was a foreseeable issue that I simply hold wouldn't be an issue. After about 3 washes one is disintegrating. The wax is crumbling away and it feels nasty to touch.
I wish the would have worked yet they really did not. Also if you get an adequate seal (which requires very warm hands), the seal will break once the wrap becomes cold in the fridge.
The overall job it did on keeping good was adequate or less.

I received this in my Mighty Fix and have tried to use it for many things. I have not found a single type of container that it will stick to nor does it stick to itself. I would like to replace plastic wrap in my household but, sadly, this is not the answer.

Bee's Wrap
The founder of Bee's Wrap, Sarah Kaeck and her family grow and preserve most of their vegetables, they milk goats, raise sheep, pigs and chickens.  Their family life revolves around the garden and kitchen. But all of this food needed to be kept fresh and growing concerns about our environment and the health safety of plastic, made plastic no longer a viable option for food storage. As a stay at home mother of three she was also interested in bringing in additional income while staying home and available to her children. This is where Bee’s Wrap enters. Enchanted with all the shades of muslin, old flour sack, scraps of trimmings, lace, yarn, and given some invaluable suggestions from family and friends, Sarah found that by coating it all in beeswax her creations became functional! The combination of fabric infused with beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin made for the perfect alternative to plastic for food storage. The antibacterial properties of beeswax and jojoba oil help keep food fresh and allow Bee's Wrap to be used again and again.
