I love this stuff. It really works. It doesn't keep produce indefinitely, but it does add at least a few days extra.
I was surprised at how well this product worked! I always lose spinach in 5-7 days, I think I'm up to 10 days and it's just now starting to wilt and brown. Put the sheets in with berries, extended the life of those too. Very happy with this product and it's life span, will order more when they run out!
This definitely extends the life of my veggies. I just write the date on it with a marker so I remember when to change the sheet out.
I belong to a CSA and it's hard to eat my piles of veggies up as quickly as I need to! I got these as my subscriber gift so I put them to the test and they do seem to work! My lettuce and greens stay crisp over a week. I'll definitely keep using this product.
I was not overly impressed with this product. If a piece of produce actually touched it, the produce would soften and rot in that spot. I keep a pretty full produce drawer because my kids roll through fruits and veggies. This didn't help the way I expected.
This review is supposed to be for Freshpaper, but for some reason when I clicked to leave a review a different product came instead. This occurred several times so hopefully this will go to the correct product.
First off, I was extremely excited to receive this as part on my Mighty Fix subscription this month. The excitement was short lived however. Upon inspecting the packaging there is no listing of the “organic spices/botanicals” that are used in this product. I checked both the product listing here on Mighty Nest, as well as, the website for the manufacturer, but could not find the ingredients anywhere.
I cannot in good conscious even use this product for fear of inadvertently causing an allergic reaction since I cook for people with allergies to certain spices and plants. Just being labeled as “organic botanicals” or “organic spices” is not enough.
So until I find out what these “organic” ingredients are, this is a 0 star review.
