The Cheese Vault is a simple and reusable way to store your artisan cheese. Cheese experts agree that the worst possible way to store cheese is the way we all do it – by wrapping it in plastic wrap. Cheese needs to “breathe” and eliminate excess moisture to maintain its flavor and delay molding (just like in a cheese cave). Store your cheese in the food-grade silicone Cheese Vault and keep it in pristine condition. The Cheese Vault imparts no flavors or aromas, keeps cheese smells in, and wicks away moisture allowing it to breathe and air to circulate, thereby delaying mold.

Nice idea, but needs some improvement
The lid basically just sits on top, it can easily get bumped off by anything brushing past it as you move things around in the fridge, and don't event think about putting it in the drawers, the lid will fall off. If they could make a lid that fits tightly and stays on, it would be perfect. All of that said, it does keep my cheese very nice. I just have to be very careful with the lid.
