Lunch Box

This is my new favorite lunch container. It seals pretty well and I haven't had any leaks from saucy food. I like how it is lighter than a glass container.

I love the container. BUT, it is not a 33 oz container. Perhaps it's just me, but when I read that a container of any sort is 33 oz, that means it's fill volume is 33 ounces. Which means I can put 33 ounces (fluid ounces of course) in to the container. This container has a fill volume of approximately 25 ounces.
The first item I received when ordered had this stamped on the bottom. It also was stamped with a tare weight of 7.8 oz. And the sticker on the side said it was a 25 oz. container. Somewhat amazingly, 25 (the fill volume) plus 7.8 (the weight of the empty container) equals almost 33 oz. Which is where I believe the company got the idea that it is a 33 oz container. But there is NO WAY that 33 fluid ounces are going in to this container. Again, it is a great container, but it is NOT a 33 oz container.

Mighty Nest has been great about this in that they sent me a free replacement. Of course, the free replacement is the exact same size as the first one I received, it just doesn't have the fill volume and tare weight stamped on the bottom and the sticker on the side now says 33 oz instead of 25 oz. But they are the exact same size.

Good size for my pre-schooler's lunch. The plastic divider that come with the container is pretty useless, it slides around and doesn't keep the food divided. The clear plastic lid cracked after about 6 months of use. I'm still using it, as I don't think it's worth the $$ to purchase a whole brand new set with lid.
