Bought this toy to protect our new puppy from dyes and plastic. The rubber is great- very durable with only minor indents from the puppy teeth phase. The rope did not survive long though- puppy removed the knot within 2 months and the rest of the rope fell apart less than 2 months later. He seems to have lost interest in the toy without the rope, but we will keep it around in case he changes his mind.
