Homemade Holiday Cookies

Holiday baking is a great way to get your family into the kitchen. We've rounded up recipes for some of our favorite holiday cookies to get everyone in the baking spirit . Whether you are preparing holiday gifts or being the a star of the cookie swap, you'll be inspired to add in a new recipe to your tradition.

A couple quick tips for healthy baking:  for decorating cookies, we are big fans of Color Kitchen. Their food coloring is made from natural sources like beets, spirulina and turmeric. There are NO artificial dyes or GMOs in Color Kitchen. Their natural sprinkles colors are made with plant-based dyes,  sugar, and are vegan. No gluten, or hydrogenated oils. The right baking equipment also helps. These half-sheet pans are made 100% from stainless steel; oven heat evenly distributes to prevent burning, and they're free of any chemical non-stick materials. They're the perfect place to put your cut-outs from the stainless steel Graduated Star Cookie Cutters
