Homemade Honey Mint Lemonade + Cookbook Giveaway!

Warmer months bring on the craving for one the best summer flavors: LEMONADE. This summer, instead of buying store-bought lemonade made with high fructose corn syrup and laden with preservatives and additives, try a simple and easy-to-make homemade lemonade (recipe below). We're excited to share a recipe from blogger Erin Gleeson's cookbook, The Forest Feast for Kids.

The Forest Feast for Kids includes the most kid-friendly favorites from Erin's earlier book The Forest Feast, along with 20 new recipes, plus ideas for kids’ parties and easy-to-follow instructions on techniques, measurements, and other helpful kitchen aides. Some of our favorites include throwing a "color party" with a menu creating the colors of the rainbow, rustic plum tartlets and an assortment of homemade bubbly and flavorful drinks that are far more exciting than soda :)

Erin reinvents simple dishes into beautifully constructed recipes that are meant to make with minimal preparation. Most of Erin's recipes only require a handful of ingredients, sometimes only three. They're simple, vegetarian and fresh. Flipping through the pages (each recipe is adorned with her watercolors, gorgeous photography and handwritten directions), you'll find easy-to-follow visual directions for your kids to learn basic culinary skills.
