Monogrammed Easter Eggs

Easter is coming and we've been having fun dyeing eggs and experimenting with new ways to decorate them. For a fun twist, try fashioning a monogram before dunking your eggs into a color bath!

Looking for eggs with your own initials takes the Easter Egg hunt to the next level not to mention, it keeps things fair and square. Or for a special treat spell out your child's entire name in Easter eggs. They also make unique place cards for your Easter Brunch—simply create an egg with the first letter of each of your guest's names.

3 Easy Steps to Monogrammed Eggs

1. You can fashion letters out of masking tape or pick up letter stickers at most art or office supply stores. Securely stick the letter on the front of the egg. Feel free to get creative—whatever is taped will remain white, so experiment with stripes, shapes, or other abstract designs. The Eco-Eggs Coloring Kit also comes with an eco crayon for creating a wax resist.

2. Set the eggs in their appropriate color bath and follow the simple Eco Egg instructions for creating various colors.

3. Once your eggs are the desired color, use the egg lifter from the kit to remove the eggs from their bath. Set the eggs on a plate lined with a paper towel to dry completely. Once dry, carefully remove the stickers and enjoy your monogrammed, personalized eggs!
