One on One Time

Getting a child to open up can be incredibly difficult. Especially in front of a crowd at the dinner table.

This spring, try to schedule at least 30 minutes of one-on-one with your child each week. Take a walk together in your neighborhood and, while you’re together, resist the urge to do anything but listen. You’d be surprised how much fresh air, exercise and undivided attention can do to get someone talking.
