Overnight It: 6 Delicious Oat Recipes

Imagine a breakfast that takes just a few minutes to prepare and is full of healthy ingredients to help you power through your holiday shopping. Overnight oats are the perfect solution to a preservative-packed breakfast bar. Simply mix up dry ingredients (rolled or steel cut oats are better than quick oats) and add any healthy boosters like chia seeds, cinnamon, hemp powder, etc. Then add moist ingredients like your choice of milk, nut butters, and natural sweeteners (fruit, dates, etc). Mix thoroughly, cover and let it sit overnight in the fridge. The long soaking time allows the oats to soften by the liquid, and bypasses any stovetop or crockpot cooking.
