Klean Kanteen Reflect: a Modern Water Bottle

04.19.11 Klean Kanteen Reflect: a Modern Water Bottle

reflect water bottle

We always get excited when a company we love comes out with a new, updated product. Klean Kanteen has done just that with the first of its kind - the modern and sleek Reflect water bottle. Made with absolutely ZERO plastic or paint, this bottle is made only from stainless steel with bamboo and a ring of silicone in the cap. Even the logo is laser etched! The bottle comes in two finishes: brushed and mirrored silver.

This reusable, durable and extremely lightweight 27 oz. water bottle is made of non-leaching high grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel. This stainless steel is put through a electropolishing process which seals the surface and prevents minerals from migrating into the bottle's contents. Therefore, these reusable stainless steel water bottles will not impart taste or leach toxins into their contents.  In addition, this high grade 304 stainless steel has an excellent resistance to stain and rust not found in other grades of stainless steel such as 202 and 430.

The Bamboo used in the top is organic, beautiful & earth-friendly -- known for its fast growth cycle and natural strength. Bamboo requires no fertilizer, pesticides or chemicals to grow. And even though the bamboo is purely decorative, it gives warmth and design flair to the reflect water bottle.

Klean Kanteen bottles are 100% recyclable. Using them helps replace wasteful, use-and-toss single serving plastic beverage containers, while saving you money in the process. Furthermore, 304 (18/8) stainless steel is a sustainable material, having a long service life, usability in a number of applications and is environmentally friendly. Stainless steel needs less maintenance and its hygienic qualities mean that we do not have to use harsh cleaners to get a clean surface.

This bottle is amazingly handsome in it's simplistic clean lines. Having spent many years looking at the MOMA design collection, I can easily imagine this bottle ending up in the museum one day. Until then, I'm happy to have it sitting on my desk.
