Might be a little small compared to other dinner plates but it's a good size. (Big eaters like my husband can get 2nds.) Also, like that it is not completely flat so it can hold some saucey pastas/meals. Feels a bit thick and heavy (not like Corelle) so hopefully more durable. Overall, nice plates!
Great glass dishes. Plain and simple, which is what I was looking for, in addition to being strong and pure glass (and not made in China, which is hard to find).
I love the size of these and the idea that they were supposed to be for the rough and tumble toddler. I happened to drop a plate on the floor and not only did it break, it shattered into millions of tiny pieces and we needed to shop vac to clean it up. Regular dishes don't do this, so we will be using those from now on.
Really great plates. I am in process of replacing all my plates, glasses, everything with these. They are safer and best for use with kids who can drop them. They are indeed a bit smaller than the average American plates, however they are still big enough for a nice size dinner. Will definitely be buying plenty more.
Great size for kids and adults. The kids are loving that we all use the same plates now, no more plastic kidware! So happy to get rid of all that melamine my kids have been eating on. So far no breaks!
I love all the Duralex products that we bought from Mighty Nest! These plates are the perfect size for toddler meals or a small adult meal. We use them for sandwhiches and re-heating leftovers. It is a little too small for for a dinner plate. I wish they came in a larger size for the adults.
I LOVE these plates ( I also have bowls and cups, all are good). About 6 months ago I replaced all my children's plastic foodware with glass. I was a little worried about breakage (I have 3 children under 5 who eat off these), however we've yet to break anything! At this point, even if a piece did break I would still love these. It comforts me to know that my children have been eating off the healthiest dinnerware possible for 6 months. All plasticware leach toxins, that is a fact. The point debated is how MUCH of each toxin/chemical does it take to harm someone. Heat makes is worse, so I could never stomach placing anything plastic in the microwave or dishwasher. Now everything goes into the dishwasher, and it saves soooo much time! I am not willing to expose my children to harmful chemicals/toxins while the so called "experts" figure all this out. You can't go wrong with a glass product and this one is as durable as you will get. These are also a great size.
Oh, AND The Mighty Nest shipped my order FREE all the way to HAWAII!!! Those of you living in AK or HI can really appreciate this, as it is nearly impossible to find a retailer who will honor mainland shipping promotions. Go Mighty Nest!!!
