What Makes it Mighty?
- human safe and non-toxic
- made from plant based materials
- 1 product = hundreds of uses
Branch Basics concentrate is an extremely high quality soap that goes beyond non-toxic. It is "HUMAN SAFE" - meaning it is not harmful if inhaled, absorbed, or accidentally ingested and it does not sting eyes or irritate skin. It puts no stress on the body. This is our standard because we've experienced firsthand that even the smallest amount of one harmful ingredient can have a profound effect on our bodies. This soap has hundreds of effective uses for home and body.
Chose from 2 sizes:
- 32 oz (makes 6 all-purpose 32 oz spray bottles at standard dilution)
- 1 Gallon (makes 24 all-purpose 32 oz spray bottles at standard dilution)
All true soaps are a combination of a fat and an alkali. Branch Basics is different because we use food and pharmaceutical grade (rather than industrial grade) coconut oils as our fat and leafy green plants as our alkali instead of a caustic alkali like lye. Because the leafy green plants have natural anti-inflammatory properties, it makes Branch Basics a great baby soap, face soap, etc.
In addition to being a pure soap, Branch Basics is powerful and effective because of the plant-based enzymes in our formula that are not damaged in the process since we don't use heat. Enzymes are “breaker downers” (lipases, carbohydrases, and proteases are enzymes that break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins in your mouth to aid digestion). Our enzymes are high quality, plant-based and amplify the cleaning process by gobbling up and breaking down debris, contaminants, and grease/grime that gets in its way. This is why Branch Basics is such a great stain remover our enzymes and soap work together like (as Marilee says) “soap on steroids.” Also, this is why we use reverse osmosis (RO) purified water so the ezymes don’t go to work breaking down the contaminates in the water but rather are more active in the soap making it more effective.
Laundry: Use 1 Tbsp concentrate per medium load. For front loaders, mix concentrate with about 1/4 - 1 cup water before adding to the dispenser. Spot treat with a 1:5 dilution if needed, then toss in with the rest.
Dishes: Spray the 1:5 dilution on dirty, greasy dishes, pots, pans, wine glasses, etc. and rinse with water.
Stains & Odors: Spray the 1:5 dilution and let sit a few minutes. Some stains literally disappear while others need agitation and rinsing. For tougher stains, use more concentrate. See this (unsolicted!) full-page article in the Dallas Morning Newspaper on Branch Basics' stain-removing powers.
Streak-Prone Surfaces: Add 1/8 teaspoon to a water-filled spray bottle. See streaks? Add more water!
Body Uses: Use the foamer pump bottle's clearly-marked 1:3 dilution line when filling it for use as a hand soap, baby wash, body wash, makeup remover, etc.
Etc, Etc, Etc: See our User Guide for many more uses. Also, check out our blog for details on some of our favorite uses.
NOTE: Because Branch Basics is pure soap, we can't make certain claims in relation to eliminating bacteria, germs, viruses, mold, mildew, algae and other contaminants. However, testing and trials do confirm that bacteria (and insects) hate Branch Basics. :)
NOTE: We recommend not using Branch Basics on plywood, OSB, or any MDF/manufactured board because it will break down the formaldehyde, releasing it into the air. This does not include real wood. For real wood we suggest a diluted solution. Also, please always test on a small area of any wood finish or painted surface to ensure it doesn't remove/harm the surface.
Ingredients: Purified water, fatty acids, coconut oil, organic alcohol*, folic acid, minerals and enzymes derived from edible and seed-bearing plants. *The alcohol is made from sugar cane and oats and is totally evaporated out in the process so that no alcohol remains in the final product.
NOTE: All the ingredients are food-grade (non-GMO) as opposed to industrial-grade and the minerals and enzymes are live and all derived from edible and seed-bearing plants.
