Been so happy with these plates and their durability!

Great size for my 2 and 4 1/2 year old and seem pretty sturdy - they are holding up well thus far. I love not using plastic.

Being aware of all the chemicals pumped into our children, I bought plates and bowls for our four granddaughters after witnessing one of them microwaving oatmeal in a cheap plastic bowl. Microwaving is easy and fast on those school mornings when time is limited. I can relax now knowing they are, indeed, being used and their mom and dad like them because they are sturdy enough for "oopsies" in the hands of 6, 7, 9 and 11-yr old girls! So glad to have found these.

I love these plates and my daughter feels so grown up having her own glass dishes! They seem very durable and I'm extremely happy with them!

So far we are happy with the plates. The kids like having grown up plates. I would like to purchase more and bigger ones down the road. I also look forward to getting cups and bowls. I really want to get away from the plastic as much as possible.

Our toddlers have dropped these plates onto our hardwood floors a few times with no problem. Granted, they haven't flung them hard or anything, but they seem sturdy enough for our purposes. The price was right so that we could have two per meal per day and not have to wash dishes all day. Its nice also to have something non-kiddy at the table competing with the busy placemat, high chair cover, sippy cups, bibs etc. It allows the food to be the main attraction. And paired with the mini versions of real silverware they look like little grow ups when they eat!
If they last, they'll be able to be kept with and used with our regular dishes for years to come.

Love the concept. Love that my kids aren't eating off horrible plastic, love that they clean easily and that after my kids outgrow them I can use them as dessert plates! BUT, these are not shatter proof. I have seen it advertised that they will break, but wanted to try it out for myself. I have watch the videos of kids dropping them and not busting. I received a deformed plate (Mighty Nest totally fixed the problem-Thanks! Customer Service A+) so decided since I had this plate left over I figured I would try it out for myself. I have hard tile in my kitchen, and it broke immediately. The thing I am most dissapointed about is that it did not shatter like I expected, in larger pieces, but it did splinter quite a bit. Is this going to stop me from buying them? I don't know, but be aware that you need to be very careful with these before and after they break!

These are the worst, most breakable plates I have ever used. Every single time one of these plates or glasses has been dropped (from a height of no greater than 2 1/2 feet), they have shattered. Not just broken, but exploded into thousands of shards of tiny glass bits. I'd have been better off using my plain ceramic dishes which at least have the decency to only break into 3 large pieces when dropped. These are horrible and I cannot imagine what on earth they are using in those videos that demonstrate the supposed break-resistance of these dishes.

These plates are the perfect size for my 19-month old twins. Food looks more delicious on a clear glass plate than on plastic or paper dishes--my girls have been sampling a better variety of foods since I started using these plates.
