Threadless and Thermos Team Up for a Coolness Factor

Thermos is cool. In more ways than one. Well, now Thermos just got a little cooler. The company recently teamed up with Chicago-based Threadless, a worldwide community of amazing artists and designers, and designed some new and fun lunchgear products while maintaining the integrity of a Thermos product.  Nearly one and a half million Threadless members vote to help decide which designs become awesome products like these sustainable stainless steel hydration bottles!

First off, what kid wouldn't like the funkalicious stainless steel water bottle? There's an astronaut strutting with a boombox to her ear, leaving a trail of groovy colors behind! The Funkalicious designer, Christopher Golebiowski's message: "Stay fresh in space". The bottle itself is made from high grade 18/8 stainless steel and holds 24 ounces but no worries, it's narrow enough to fit into a standard cup holder. Unscrew the wide mouth BPA-free, leak-proof cap to fit ice cubes for an extra cold beverage. The cap also features  a push button opening, which is very convenient using one handed. The stainless steel also keeps drinks cool for hours.

We also carry 2 other water bottle styles from Threadless designers. Pandas have been my daughter's favorite animal for long stretch of time. She'd be a proud owner of the Fake Pandas Have More Fun water bottle. Designed by Roberto Galvez, who's artist statement, "Hummingbirds drinking cherry cola!", surely leaves us wondering. The designer, Lim Heng Swee, of the Juliet water bottle has made a design perfect for the kid who loves a fantasy land. His bottle has a butterfly girl who has just hatched from inside of her suspended leaf cocoon while other butterflies flutter around her. His artist statement: "When the day comes, I'll fly, high, in search of my spring of inspiration"

Also available from the Threadless-Thermos team are fabulous lunchboxes. Made of of heat-sealed, leak-proof, food grade PEVA lining, this lunch cooler is completely free of PVC, BPA and lead. Insulated with superior quality closed cell polyethylene foam to keep foods cool for hours.

Aaron Jay, who designed the Mr. Cloud's new scarf lunch cooler says, "This is a friendly little cloud who is overjoyed that there was just enough sun and rain to craft a new accessory" The other style, Frida's Garden, was designed by Dale Sattler, who states, "Tui's frolicking and romancing in Frida Kahlo's garden", about his lunch cooler design. Both lunch coolers are easy to clean with a damp cloth and measure 10 x 4 x 7.5 inches for ample lunches.

I also like to add a Kids Konserve sweat-free ice pack for keeping foods cool all day. Made from recycled plastic bottles, the cover doesn't sweat like most ice packs and is also BPA, PVC and lead free.
