Dioxin is linked to breast cancer, immune system suppression, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, reduced fertility and changes in hormones.
Dioxin bioaccumulates in the body and can remain in the body for 20-30 years after exposure. That's a lot of bioaccumulating! Most importantly, these chemicals are coming into contact with some of the most absorbent tissues in the body; essentially, an express route into the bloodstream.
