More Products than Ever & More Visibility into our Standards

From the beginning, we’ve set very high standards. Our mission has always been to take a close look at products and what they contain to give you healthy, sustainable options that truly make an impact.

Thanks to everyone who responded to our customer survey earlier this year. We learned that many of you were interested in a broader selection that would include products at more affordable price points and those that are more similar to conventional options. Inspired by your feedback, we've been doing a comprehensive search over the past six months looking for products that suit your needs and meet our high standards.

As part of our research, we dug deeper into ingredients we had not previously allowed in products on MightyNest, including synthetic fragrances and a handful of preservatives common in many green products. The vast majority of the ingredients we evaluated do not meet our standards, but a small number do. For example, of the 3,000+ potential ingredients that are approved for use in fragrances, we allow less than 350 (many of which are essential oils). The new ingredients we have approved allow us to bring you a hand-picked selection of new products that have the benefits you have been looking for.

We are proud to be expanding our assortment of products and are excited to share them with you. Stay tuned — we've taken your feedback to heart and we think you're going to love what you see.

You may notice that we have chosen not to carry all of the available scents and formulas for the new brands we’ve added. That is because, as always, we went through each and every ingredient in each product and only approved formulations where the ingredients currently meet our standards.

As we worked through this project we realized we had the opportunity to provide even more visibility into our curation process and what’s in the products we carry so you can make an informed shopping decision. We know you come to MightyNest because you trust us to do the legwork and research every ingredient in the products we sell. Likewise, we are happy to share our learnings with you. We’ve made some changes to your shopping experience to make sure you’re well informed.

• The ingredient detail section of each product page now does much more than just listing every ingredient. It also calls out whether the fragrances or preservatives being used in each product are natural, nature identical or synthetic, and if there are any other ingredients we believe you may want to know more about.
  
  This detail is shown for all cleaning essentials as well as products that you consume or put on your body (e.g., skincare or wellness products). We will be expanding this across other categories in the months to come.

• You can now filter by ingredient type so you can easily choose what is right for you. Select filters like Fragrance Free, Natural Fragrance, Preservative Free and more.
