Curl Shampoo and Conditioner is formulated for textured hair to improve curl and wave health, with Babassu Butter and Pracaxi Butter to add definition and seal in moisture. Leaves curls feeling soft and not frizzy with a fresh citrus scent.

Use and care:
HiBAR shampoo lathers up really quickly, whether you apply it directly to your wet hair, or if you rub it in your palms and then into your hair.
HiBAR conditioner works the same way, but because of its unique solid formulation, it will take a few seconds more to spread through your hair.
Store HiBAR the same way you'd store a bar soap in your shower - dry, away from direct water. HiBAR can sit upright, helping it shed any moisture. ** Most people switch to HiBAR without any transition time. But for some, it can take a week or two for your scalp to adapt to the sulfate-free formulas.

great lather!

It took a bit to get used to the hibar, but now I do get great lather and my hair comes out very clean.

not in love with this one

I love the Soothe version of Hibar, but since I have curly hair I thought I'd give this a try. I started with the shampoo. It has no lather and is very difficult to distribute through my hair. It's almost sticky, so trying to glide it on (like I did with Soothe) makes it feel like my hair is being pulled. Very uncomfortable. The formula is moisturizing, but without being able to distribute it I don't feel like it's doing much. I guess maybe it's like doing a co-wash but even that would be easier to do with my other HiBar conditioners. I'm going to try to use this up but I'll be going back to one of the original HiBar formulas next time.
